Providing education and training
Shannon Smit, Director of our firm, has been the lecturer for several years of the Transfer Pricing Subject of the Master of International Taxation program offered by the Law School at the University of Melbourne.
Shannon and Adriana, Directors of our firm, have extensive experience in leading training and workshops for CFOs and Tax Teams of large companies and for accounting and law firms with no transfer pricing expertise across the Asia Pacific Region.
They have also being appointed by CPA Australia to train the ATO tax executives as part of the ATO’s expert training series. We also lead training sessions
In-house transfer pricing resources and assistance with implementation
Our team has experience providing companies with transfer pricing resources to assist in-house. We can become an extension of finance/tax teams where we are copied on ‘internal’ emails to ensure the company does not overlook any transfer pricing requirements. Clients feel comfortable to call or email at any time with questions without the fear of an excessive cost.
Our firm also assist with implementing transfer pricing policies and with assisting with transfer pricing planning. We aim to provide not just technical transfer pricing advice, but really ‘roll your sleeves’ up and implement it within the client.

Shannon’s career has provided her with a wide range of experience including global project management, transfer pricing and operational
implementation for large-scale business transformation projects. She also has hands-on implementation experience with supply chain issues
and managing interrelationships between international tax, accounting, IT systems and training of operations personnel.
Shannon also lectures in Transfer Pricing as a part of the Melbourne University’s Law School International Tax Program.
a lawyer and barrister in Colombia, Adriana has advised companies in the Asia Pacific Region across various industries including
Automotive, Utilities, Cable Manufacturing, Steel and Consumer Products industries. She has also participated in specialised transfer
pricing projects involving debt pricing, pricing of financial transactions and negotiation of advanced pricing arrangements. Most recently
she has also participated in transfer pricing planning projects to implement BEPS’s action plan and country by country reporting.
She is a transfer pricing trainer for the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals. Adriana has also facilitated training sessions for CFOs, tax teams of large companies and consultancies, and tax executives at the Australian Taxation Office.
Hong Chuan Tan
Hong Chuan Tan specialises in the area of transfer pricing where he manages a portfolio of clients comprising companies from a broad range of industries such as mining; electrical and electronics; plastic products; construction and property development; hotels; real estate; oil and gas amongst others. He has prepared transfer pricing documentation (Master File and Local File) for the Asia Pacific region, in particular Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
Mun Yee Wong
Mun Yee possesses experience in working with local corporations and multinationals in identifying and rectifying transfer pricing related
She managed transfer pricing documentation for various jurisdictions including but not limited to Malaysia, Singapore and China.
Mun Yee dealt with transfer pricing matters for multinational groups operating in the industry such as information technology; electrical and electronics; telecommunication; automotive; metal; food and beverages; real estate investment trust; hotel; construction and property development.
Kaval Aulakh has been exposed to various areas of transfer pricing assignments such as transfer pricing documentation, comparability studies, shared costs allocation and Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP).
Samuel has prepared transfer pricing documentation for clients from the Asia Pacific region (e.g. Malaysia, Singapore and Australia). His expertise includes handling transfer pricing engagements and conducting benchmarking studies for companies from various industries such as oil and gas, shipping, chemical, wood, jewellery and the electronics industry.
